RAW REPORT: The 2011 Tostitos BCS Championship Bowl Game – Auburn vs Oregon Score

We are here at University of Phoenix stadium and we can say that it is jam-packed with both teams’ supporters. Approximately over 78,600 people are here to witness the clash between unbeaten teams.
Most sports analysts and BCS fans predicted that the game between Auburn and Oregon will be a high scoring match but it seems that both teams cannot find a good opportunity to score. Twenty minutes has passed, but they are still scoreless.

The first quarter turned out to be a defensive game for Tigers and Ducks which ended with the score of 0-0. Oregon broke the tied game when kicker Rob Beard scored for a 26-yard field goal with 14 minutes left in the second quarter. Two minutes after Beard’s field goal, Auburn completed a 36-yard pass from quarterback Cameron Newton to wide receiver Kodi Burns with an extra point by Wes Byrum.
With Oregon’s turn, Kodi Burns showed another good shot after taking down the receiver from their kick ball. Oregon continue to play their game when wide receiver Jeff Maehl completed a pass from Darren Thomas and run for 81 yards to Auburn 12. Oregon’s attack didn’t stop and LaMichael James scored an 8-yard run touchdown and completing a two point attempt with Rob Beard.
Auburn Tigers scored a safety after Oregon’s LaMichael James failed to take the football out of the goal line. The ball was back to Auburn with 2 minutes left in the 1st half. Auburn continue their impressive play and completed a 30 yard pass from Cam Newton to Emory Blake. Auburn closed the first half with a 4-point advantage.
LAST MINUTE RECAP: Auburn Tigers won the BCS Championship 2011 with a final score of 22-19. Running back Michael Dyer was named the 2011 BCS MVP in offense while Nick Fairley was named 2011 BCS MVP in defense. The game was tight until the end and Oregon Tigers tied the game with 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter. With hope of getting the game back on their hands, Oregon failed to protect the yards and the game ended with the 19-yard field goal by Wes Byrum.

You are the worst kind of fan. ” Sore losers and cry babies”. We all know at that level of competing there is very little luck. Luck doesn’t last for quarters and the best team does win. Fact is they were the best team in game day at game time. Grow up and become a real fan. OR as I say ” Cowboy up”.
Oregon deserved that game. they played far better than Auburn.
