Inter coach Leonardo Araujo will leave AC Milan at the end of the season as confirmed by AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi. He told Corriere dello Sport newspaper that they are currently looking for new coach to fill Leonardo’s position.
There are rumors saying that Leonardo will take over Carlos Dunga as the coach of the Brazilian national side after Dunga steps down from the post this summer.
Milannews.it reported that Flamengo President Patricia Amorim said that she’s thinking if she will put the team under Zico, former Olympiacos F.C coach, or Leonardo, who will be available at the end of the La Liga season. Flamengo coach Jorge Luis Andrade was dismissed by Flamengo after a disappointing run in the Rio de Janeiro state championship and the Copa Libertadores.
Some reports said that the team has a bad performance under Leonardo’s management and lack of experience in the managerial position puts him out of the club. Much of the rumours are based on the belief that Leonardo is unhappy at Berlusconi’s way of treating the players and the team.
Leonardo hasn’t commented on any news regarding his departure. As for now, he is more focus in leading the team in the remaining games in La Liga.
