Hamburg Beats Bochum in Bundesliga (2-1)

Hamburger (HSV) beats Bochum with a 2-1 victory at relegation-threatened VfL Bochum yesterday, April 11, 2010 at the Rewirpower Stadium. A late own goal from Bochum midfielder Andreas Johansson helped Hamburg to end a four-game winless streak while Bochum remains winless in six games and stayed one point above the relegation zone.

Offensive midfielder Robert Tesche scored for Hamburg in the 18th minute of the game. Fourteen minutes after Tesche’ header from a corner, Slovenian striker Zlatko Dedic hammered the ball from 20 meter into top left corner and tied the score at 1-1.

It was a tied ball game not until Johansson deflected a pass by midfielder Ze Roberto, sealing the victory for Hamburg.

Hamburg currently seats in the sixth place with 12 wins, 12 draws, 6 losses, and a total score of 48 points. Bochum stayed in the 15th place, one point above the relegation zone, with 6 wins, 10 draws, 14 losses and accumulated score of 28 points.
