Manchester United’s new forward, Javier Hernandez, is ready to set foot in Premier League on August 16. United Manager boss Alex Ferguson was very impressed on Hernandez performance most especially in the FIFA World Cup 2010 tournament. He scored 2 goals for Mexico in the said tournament: 1 goal in their game against France in the group stage and another goal in the quarterfinal round against Argentina.
After being announced by FIFA as the fastest player at the World Cup in South Africa, with a top speed of 19.97mph compare to Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt’s average of 23 mph, Ferguson believes that the 22-year old Hernandez will have a good impact on Red Devils and he’ll definitely will be team’s surprise player in the 2010-2011 Premier League season.
“He’s got lots of good qualities – he’s two-footed, very quick and has a good spring, and he’s a natural goalscorer. We’re very excited about him and hope he has a great career at Old Trafford.”Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United Manager
Hernandez, who previously played for Mexican club Guadalajara will have ‘Chicharito’ on his shirt on his Premier League debut. The shirt name is similar to the previous season at Birmingham City, where Ecuadorian footballer Christian Benitez had ‘Chucho’ on his shirt.
Defender John O’Shea believes that Hernandez will cause lots of problems for defenders and score few goal while midfielder Darren Fletcher believes that Hernandez will be a good addition to the team. Like any other players, Fletcher admired how Hernandez played and scored a couple of great goals at the World Cup.
Do you think hernandez will be a big help for Red Devils this season?

Javier “Chicharito” Hernadez is in the same level of mexican legend Hugo Sanchez and I think he will make more than an impact than Hugol. And he will win the champions league something that Great Hugo Sanchez couldn’t achieve.. Good luck Javier and makes us Mexican proud
