VIDEO: GERMANY VS SERBIA – 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP
Germany already lost their power in their match against Serbia. After an overwhelming victory against Australia last week (View Germany vs Australia), Germany have run out of bullets. They weren’t able to score in their game against Serbia and that was a humiliating defeat.
Serbia was defeated by Ghana last week (View Serbia vs Ghana). It was a very disappointing game for the team but there’s nothing that they could do but to stand up and face Germany with no fear. Facing one of the giant teams in the World Cup gave Serbs too much pressure in the game but they didn’t showed any nervousness in the field. They were like hungry lions with one objective in their mind – to score.
Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic scored in the 38th minute giving Serbia a 1-0 win over the three-time World Cup champions in Group D. He scored a goal a minute after Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose received his second yellow card. Jovanovic’s goal was Serbia’s first in the World Cup win as an independent nation.
