Peru will face Uruguay on September 5, 2009 which be held at the Monumental, Lima, Peru for the World Cup Qualification CONMEBOL (Confederacion Sudamericana de Futbol).
Peru is currently the lowest team in South American World Cup Qualifiers (World Cup Qualification CONMEBOL). The team has a total of 7 points. They have only 1 win, 4 draws and 9 losses. On the other hand, Uruguay have a total of 18 points with 4 wins, 6 draws, and 4 losses. Uruguay is on the 6th place.

Uruguay striker Diego Martin Forlan Corazo was still named to Uruguay’s squad even though he is suspended. Forlan will served one game suspension that’s why he will not be playing on Uruguay’s match on Saturday but he will be playing on September 9 against Venezuela match. Uruguay is in critical condition in this World Cup. They can’t afford to take any mistakes on their game against Peru and Colombia. They don’t want to have the same fate as what happened to them last World Cup.
