Manchester City suspended Carlos Tevez while the club is investigating Tevez conduct in the Champions League game against Bayern Munich. According to the reports City’s manager Roberto Mancini said that the Argentine striker refused to come on the game as a substitute.
Carlos Tevez is now suspended for two weeks maximum and he might get back until further notice as stated on City’s official website.
Roberto Mancini told the reporters that Carlos Tevez refused to play as a substitute and ignored his instruction to get up early for warm up in the second half of the game against Bayern Munich.
Tevez on the other hand defend himself on what happen and he said “There was some confusion on the bench and I believe my position may have been misunderstood,”.
“I would like to apologise to all Manchester City fans, with whom I have always had a strong relationship, for any misunderstanding that occurred in Munich.
“They understand that when I am on the pitch I have always given my best for the club. In Munich on Tuesday, I had warmed up and was ready to play.
“This is not the right time to get into specific details as to why this did not happen. But I wish to state that I never refused to play. Going forward, I am ready to play when required and to fulfil my obligations.”
While Tevez is in hot water , City is also offered to loan Carlos Tevez and this was from an Irish football club.
